One of my five favorite songs ever is by a certain artist ... incredibly, a decade later, this same artist recorded one of my five LEAST favorite songs. Two different act names were used to record the two songs.

Name the songs and the artists.

Wow, that is random and obscure, and I'm almost certain someone will know.

Very good guess ... but no. I think the Split Enz song came less than a decade before Crowded House's first one ... I like both songs, by the way :)

Why should we waste our time even thinking about your taste in music?

You don't have to. Just thought I'd throw it out there since I'm bored.

Again, a good guess, from my man Xan. Not what I was thinking of, though.

Obviously no one knows my music tastes, but I can assure you that these are two songs that people have heard of.

It's not like Pachelbel's Canon in 1680, then something he did heading up Pachelbel's All Stars in 1690.

Was it a Prince song and then an Artist Formerly... song?
