  2. The Rhoden line is a cheap shot, and the reference of Iverson is dead on.

I don't know whom he's channeling, but Freeman is right.

I dunno Junkie: The truth of that statement might itself break down a little more along racial lines than you think, particularly where it involves Iverson-haters.

Our golf guy has ripped Daly several times in the past year -- and you'd be surprised how many people rush to Daly's defense. The only change recently is you're getting more "Hey, I love the guy, but he needs help" than you used to get. It used to be simply, "Hey, leave the guy alone, he's one of us, and he's just having fun."

Is it wise - or mature/respectable/appropriate, etc. - for a columnist to write what is basically a "Nyahh! Nyahh!!! nanananahhH!!! You can't get ME!!!" piece like that?

Columnists need to have more to contribute than just a gratuitous stirring of the pot.

Iverson was the best he could come up with? And he's a writer? What a terrible example.

It's still better than Doyel's "Steelers suck" posts, but enough that I'm veering away from CBS Sports from now on.

    BOSTON -- Oh ... my ... God.

    I can't believe what I just saw.

Thrilling, stunning, beautiful, grand, better than sex with triplets.

I've never read any of Freeman's stuff, but, ya, that lead blows.

    freeman sucks.

    this. is. news? ??? ??? ???

for a dick who champions women in locker rooms, he sure writes sexist one-line garbage.

thanks for the latest reminder. i NEVER read freeman, either, unless he's posted here by someone. ::)

daly is a fat prick, no doubt. freeman's a hack nonetheless.

Sportsline seems intent on leading the field in shock value.
