Freelance Sports Reporter -- Eugene, OR

    My name is Joseph Hoyt and I'm a freelance sports reporter currently living in Eugene, Oregon. I'm also a senior journalism student at the University of Oregon.

    In the past year I've covered everything from the inaugural College Football Playoff National Championship, to the Umpqua Community College shooting.

    I'm also comfortable with commuting to Portland, Oregon, along with events near Eugene.

    I will be in Eugene for the 2016 NCAA Track & Field Championships on June 8-11.
