So, with summer coming up, I'm looking for freelancers to write articles for PVA Publications, an official part of the nonprofit Paralyzed Veterans of America. We produce two national magazines: Sports’ N Spokes, a bimonthly publication covering wheelchair sports and recreation and PN, a monthly health, issues and lifestyle publication for veterans and others with spinal-cord injury or disease.

Pay runs from $50 to $150 on articles that range from 500 to 1,200 words. Contributors will be expected to interview multiple sources, take photos and/or secure high-resolution photos from interviewees and hit deadline. Basically, we're looking for people who can write features on adaptive sports, profiles or technology updates or on news/issues affecting paralyzed veterans.

If any of that sounds interesting to you, please contact John Groth, editorial coordinator, at john@pvamag.com. If you want to learn more about us, check out pvamag.com, sportsnspokes.com and pva.org. I've had some success here over the past couple years and have found 4-5 freelancers during that time. Some people have found full-time jobs, so that's why I'm returning looking for some freelancers.

Additionally, when sending clips, please send actual links and clips - not text copied and pasted to a Microsoft Word or text document. Thanks.
