    Description:

    Magazine for kids learning to play baseball has a special freelance opportunity for writers who can dedicate a part of their time this Winter while at the Grapefruit or Cactus leagues at MLB spring training. You will be in either Florida or Arizona while MLB teams prepare for the season ahead. You will interview players to contribute to a series of “How To” / “Top Tips from the Pros” articles for our readers, ages 7-17. Your credentials should show an ability to write for teens, tweens and youngsters; knowledge and understanding of the game of baseball; and solid writing skills. Lodging and food is your responsibility. Payment is flat fee per article. Ideal for sports journalist already planning to cover Spring Training.
