    Nice to see the Republicans are back playing with conspiracy theories. Must have been a long eight years for you guys.

    Word is that he had bet on the Venezuelan polo team to win.

    He, personally, was. He was just brought on in September to fix the mess. He wasn't responsible for the mess.

    How do you know if he was financially set or not? Do you know him?

    I'm guessing someone who was even in position to be hired for such a job is in pretty good financial shape. They're not hiring sport writers to run companies.

    What money has to do with it: He's set financially. He could have simply walked away from Freddie Mac. Makes "suicide" seem really unlikely.
