How much trouble could he be in if they didn't take him to jail?

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Fred Taylor was arrested early Saturday and charged with disorderly conduct near Miami Beach night club Club Cristal.

Police did not book Taylor or take him to jail. They released Taylor at the scene on a promise to appear in court, according to Miami Beach Police spokesman Juan Sanchez.

Details of the arrest, including the time, circumstances and whether it was inside or outside the club, won't be available until Tuesday morning when the police department's records office opens after the long weekend, Sanchez said.

  2. It's a misdemeanor. Similar to a speeding ticket. Pay a fine and be on your way.

Did he pull his groin when they put him in the squad car?

  4. The rumor I heard is both Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew were being chased by police that night but Jones-Drew outran Taylor.

I thought Taylor really didn't do much; he just got credit for it.
