There it is, the complete list of wins for the whole conference. Not one win against the SEC. Not one win against the Big 12. Two wins against the Pac 10 (8th and 10th place finishers). Not one win against the ACC. Three wins against the Big East (one against the next-to-last place finisher, two against the last place finisher. And a whole lot of wins against the MAC and Notre Dame.

Five BCS wins for the whole conference: Pitt, Syracuse, Syracuse, Washington, Washington State.

The whole conference, FRAUDS top to bottom. Not one single, solitary impressive victory during the whole 2007 season. But they know how to play 'the game'. Build up your conference record playing nobodies, then wait for the bowl invites to come in.

    Uh-oh.

    This will not end well.

  3. Maybe not.
But including ND in there is a very nice touch.

You're preaching to the choir, brutha. But they ain't gonna yank Ohio State's meal ticket.

LSU's giving 5 1/2 points according to the line I saw. You can have those points. LSU will roll.

But those schools can't help it that when they scheduled those games five years ago they had no idea those teams would stink. [/crybabies on BCS thread]

OK, to be a fraud, you have to claim to be something you aren't. And no one said the big Ten was great this year.
And as the SEC fanbois say, they beat up on each other...

Poindexter, who exactly are you trying to convince? Do you know what a fraud is? NOBODY has been decieved into believing that the Big 10 is strong this year. Everybody already knows the Big 10 is down. Helll, even Big 10 officials acknowledge it. All this time you've been venting this anti-Big 10 obsession of yours on the college football threads (now moved to its own), has ANYONE ever disagreed with you about the conference being weak this year? You're taking the "preaching to the choir" metaphor to whole new levels. Give it a rest.

But, out of curiosity, just how many huge non-conference wins did the grand exalted SEC, greatest college football conference since the dawn of man, have this year? I remember LSU crushing Va Tech, but I also remember Alabama getting thumped by La-Monroe, Auburn taking it on the chin from USF, and Tennessee getting its ass soundly kicked by what turned out to be a pretty mediocre Cal team.

Maybe he's slurping the Pac-10 phallus. Don't forget USC's huge nonconference win over Nebraska. ::)

It doesn't matter what anybody claims, or is trying to convince. Here is the bottom line:

This fraudulent conference parlayed five wins, over Pitt, Syracuse, Syracuse, Washington and Washington State into not one, but two BCS meal tickets. Not just two BCS meal tickets, but one is a spot in the National Title Game.

11 teams, and best results were five wins over BCS nobodies. That's the best they did. They parlay that into an extra BCS game and the cherry on top, the national title game. A fraudulent house of cards.

Maybe it's just that I wasn't paying close enough attention (I focus more on the Big 12), but I had no idea the Big 10 was that weak this year. Nice work Poin.
