    I once was in a bar in Japan in which everybody -- and I do mean everybody -- was paying rapt attention to the UFC card that was being shown on the TVs. So JR's smug anti-Americanism doesn't wash in, at least, that respect.

    If you like soccer, great. If you don't, that's great, too. I don't go chiding Brits or the French about not liking baseball. I expect the same attitude in response.
