Rick Neuheisel might be a good fit too.

He took Mike Leach's spot alongside Jack Arute on the Sirius/XM midday college football show. He's not bad.

Yeah, I've heard him a few times. Like him on the air.

Neuheisel is on the Pac-12 network, with commentary and analysis on many shows throughout the week, and on their pre/postgame studio show. He is very good.

If you just want a nutty personality who hasn't done much, try Robb Akey.

Coach Giggity would actually be a good gamble. Or Ed Orgeron if you don't mind subtitles.

Fox? Go for the older demographic?

I say this every time a discussion on Erin Andrews and anchoring comes up. Diferent skill set than asking two questions at halftime to a disinterested coach.

Erin does show (as she did last year on ESPN) that anchoring *is* a skill -- it takes knowledge, confidence and the ability to handle technical chaos. One that people don't notice until you see a nervous or inexperienced anchor.

Probably has great gambling and NCAA violations insight. Fuckin Newweasel. Killer of college football programs.

I'm kind of surprised the Pac 12 took him, knowing the enmity folks in Colorado and Washington have for him.

Well, he could have always gone to Las Vegas to work with his old friend Bobby Hauck at UNLV. (Hauck was an assistant on Neuheisel's staff at Washington before becoming head coach at Montana.)

Then again, Rick's ego wouldn't allow him to be an assistant to anyone.

Listening to her is like listening to Rachael Ray. It can't be done.
