Happy Independence Day to those who agree and disagree with me.

Thank God we live in a country where we have those systems of checks and balances, rooted in Freedom of Speech

Here's wishing everyone on both sides a great day and in a sense, an awakening to a national reclamation of all that is good.

This would be a start: Make this our national anthem, and make a law that no one can sing it without accompaniment by this man, postmortem of course.

    Better one:

Happy 4th of you and everyone as well. I like the song, love Ray's version, but under no circumstances am I in favor of changing the national anthem.

A U.S. passport is the only one I have, and my other homeland is never far from my thoughts or my heart. Proud that two of my ancestors fought at Lexington and Concord on the first day of the Revolution. Happy Independence Day!!!!

Raise your glass to a government that can scarcely manage its own affairs.

And speaking of the, um, greatest country on earth ahead of our "No. 2" status, note the post on the News thread about...well, China's house is not quite in order now.
