If you saw me limping and heard me whining today about how my legs hurt, you certainly wouldn't be saying that.

Supposed to be 106 with 40 percent humidity.
I'll be in the house, drinking and playing the guitar.

    I'm working. Oh, wait, I'm a Canadian.

Best part: no phone calls from my US clients. YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!! :)

So did you party on Monday? Or are Canadians not as rah-rah about Canada Day as we are about the Fourth?

It's huge. Coast to coast. And it's the official kick off of summer.

But in a polite, understated Canadian way. :)

I'll join the guys who're working as I try to bank some stuff for next week, when I'm going to take my vacation.

Golf with my brother in the morning. Pool, BBQ with the family in the afternoon, and keeping the 5-year-old nephew and 3-year-old niece entertained. Well, they'll keep me entertained.

    Happy Fourth to everyone.

Very little. Couldn't pay me to go into DC for this shitfest, so we'll stay home, maybe go to the pool, maybe watch a movie. I'm off till Monday, so I'll probably drink a few beers without the hassle of working the next day with a hangover.

BBQ at the in laws on Saturday.

I don't think Canada Day is as big a deal here as July 4 is there. You see a lot of red and hear some fireworks but it is much more understated.

I will be covering day four of the world junior women's fastpitch championships here in my little part of the Toronto 'burbs.
