Former sports editor (& SJ.com poster) arrested in connection with bank robbery

    Got hooked on drugs, robbed a bank, went to jail and now he's writing a memoir. Isn't that the American dream?

    I especially like Simon Cowbell mocking the Internet as the wave of the future.

    Mario is a great guy. Addiction is a terrible thing. It messes with your brain and your reasoning. You think only of the next high, bet, drink, whatever.

    I know many good people who have lied, cheated and stole while spiraling down. Some went to jail, some caught a break, many turned their lives completely around. Some are still battling.

    This. I've known Mario for 30 years now. To answer a question posed above, yes I would invite him into my home. We could listen to some Prince.
