Former Michigan, NFL running back Ron Johnson has Alzheimer's

    Is there any info out there linking concussions to Alzheimer's? Obviously, concussions cause brain damage, but Alzheimer's is a very specific thing.

    The damage football is doing to these guys' brains is a very serious issue that needs to be researched and addressed more than it has been, but let's make sure we get it right.

    I think the issues we're seeing with guys who played in the 80s & early 90s have as much to do with equipment as it does with size and speed.

    I think guys got bigger, faster and stronger quicker than helmet technology improved.

    More to the point, I think PEDs improved quicker than helmet technology.
