    Wow.

First memory of Komlo -- and to remember it, you gotta have a really good memory -- was Thanksgiving 1979, when he QBed the Lions to a shutout win of the playoff-bound Bears. I think Detroit went 2-14 that year.

    RIP.

(And tony, Natural Light is highbrow stuff. It's the beer that goes with food, you know.)

Schaeffer is the one beer to have when you're having more than one.
Schaeffer flavor never fails even when your thirst is done.

    Tonight, let it be Lowenbrau.

Joe, if we ever have the good fortune to meet in real life I'll buy you a Nattie Light. But you have to drink it all. ;D

Didn't Mel Farr (along with Lem Barney) sing backup on Marvin Gaye's What's Going On?

Right on, baby. Luckily they didn't cross paths with Marvin Sr.

I'm pretty sure that was the first time I realized tasteless jokes were funny.

My dad tells me what happened and that Marvin was killed on his birthday. Then he made some crack about how he hopes I don't get him a present like that. And he and his nine-year-old son laughed and laughed and laughed.

I'd gladly take a new car for $129/month...
