I'm not sure if everyone wants to use this thread for talking about Sarah Marshall anymore, but I just got back from it and enjoyed it. It ran a bit long and the main character was a little too mopey, but it was probably the most honest portrayal of a main character in an Apatow movie since 40-YO Virgin.

Oh, and Mila Kunis is very attractive.

 

I think one of the things that I honestly liked best about the movie was the sequence where Sarah explained to Peter that he just moped around and wore sweatpants for a week, and that she tried like hell to pull him out of his funk, but couldn't, and that was part of their problem. It was sort of an honest relationship moment for movies. Instead of just making her out to be a total bitch, you actually got to see that Peter was partly to blame. I do appreciate those moments of emotional honesty in the Apatow films.

 

I'd be mopey too if I got dumped by Kristen Bell.

Of course, I'd have to have dated her first.......
