A Rolling Stones song in a trailer? It doesn't get more hackneyed than that.

The worst thing about Scorsese is his overuse of songs in his movies.

Yeah, we have an eight-screen AMC, but if it's not Avengers, Godzilla, John Wick, etc... they aren't booking it.

Ford v Ferrari is truly only going to appeal to a limited audience, and the theater isn't interested in taking up space for a dozen people per show. It's sort of like the Tolkien movie that came out earlier.

But Damon gives it the star appeal it needs for a big release, Bale's genius notwithstanding. Another triumphant SNL appearance around release day wouldn't hurt.

Long ago, a movie based on a story of mine was slated to star Bale and Damon. Then it fell apart. I will confess that I've watched this trailer a few times now, and it stings a little each time. It's like squirting lemon juice into an old cut. But I wonder, vainly, whether they've been trying to work together since way back then.

It’s a $100 million movie with Disney distribution. It will be in every theater complex in America for at least 3 weeks.

Because the Go Like Hell version starring Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt and directed by Michael Mann fell apart a few years back. This one is NOT based on the book.

Ford v. Ferrari is a perfect title.

The other one is vague bullshit.
