    If what is being reported is correct you can't even take reading materials on flights out of the UK today. How much would it suck to get on a transatlantic flight knowing the only thing you'll have to read for the next 7-8 hours is a copy of American's in-flight magazine?

    Sock Puppet:  Once thru security you can buy drinks but you have to consume them in the terminal.  They won't let you on the plane with the drinks.


    Many European airports (London for sure and several others) are on a higher state of alert than US airports at the moment.  So, boarding requirements and security checks at those airports will be more stringent than the ones at most US airports.
