    I have no problem with ExxonMobil making as much profit as it can, either.

    But onsidering corporate taxes amount to 2.2% of the GDP (compared to an average of 3.4% for most of the developed world), and considering that U.S. corporations have become rather adept at hiding profits in tax havens overseas or passed it on to owners (i.e. shareholders) who must report it on THEIR returns, I also have no problem with Uncle Sam getting its share.
