For the love of God and Bo, would someone shut up Dierdorf

This is unbelievable. He's been droning on at Schembechler's memorial service for SIXTEEN MINUTES!!!! And he's dropped hints he's ready to get off the stage about 10 times, then he just keeps rambling.

It's as if he's trying to lull everyone into joining Bo.

Thanks for reminding us why we don't miss you on MNF, Dan.

    Dierdorf was excellent on MNF.

Esiason ruined the product for about five years for me.

Boomer was absolutely the worst. He had to dumb it down and explain everything to you like you were six. Boomer was the Tiki Barber of his time.

I thought Dierdorf was another guy in love with his own voice. He's been much better on CBS, leading me to believe MNF/SNFitis is some kind of disorder one gets from sharing space with Al Michaels.

I ain't gonna go MLB/NFL on ya on that one..... just a difference in subjective perception.

Dierdorf was a mime compared with Shemy Schembechler.

Calling it ponderous would libel the word ponderous.

I thought most of it was good, but had to go to the airport before I heard all of Shemy...

Deirdorf was good, Bob Forman was better, Reggie McKenzie was excellent, Lloyd was best and as a friend said, Brandstatter could MC a public stoning and make it sound fun...

Hey, I've had a blast at every public stoning I've been to.

As long as the seeds have been picked.

If I recall correctly, Dierdorf actually removed the light on the podium at his Pro HOF induction that indicated when you should wrap up your speech. Then he actually showed the light to everyone.

Most (I emphasize NOT ALL . . . ) but MOST Michigan grads come on with an absurd sense of superiority.

Lack of true self-knowledge is a terrible thing.

True. Usually one has to go to South Bend to find such a lack...
