For fans of "The Wire"

I just bought seasons 1 and 2 with some Amazon gift cards I got for Christmas. I can't wait until they get here so I can dive in.

 

Season 2 isn't as good.

Sydnor is third on my "Wire eye candy" avatar list. I'm waiting for Disc 2 of Season 3 to arrive tomorrow in the mail, and I already have Disc 3.

 

So are you getting into it more now, or just persevering?

 

Persevering. Hoping for one of two things.

1.) A breakthrough, something that makes me love it;

or

2.) Shirtless Carver, Bodie or Sydnor, or MORE shirtless Daniels (with less face showing).



I did love Omar's court appearance. That was fantastic start to finish.

 

The guy who plays Daniels does have a ridiculous physique, and you'll definitely be seeing more of it if you keep watching. Can't think of any shirtless Carver, Bodie or Sydnor off the top of my head. Sorry.

 

Well there goes half the reason for me to keep watching. Way to go!

 

Umm ... season 3 rules?

 

I almost dropped my pants to show Stringer I wasn't wearing a wire once.

The dude in IJAG's avatar beat my ass pretty bad when he had me in the box.

 

I'm rewatching it after getting the full set for Christmas. It's easy to forget that Season 2 isn't literally all about the docks. There's a lot of good stuff about D'Angelo and other S1 favorites, though definitely less of it.

 

I'm about to finish S4 again. This us my favorite season & it's not even close.

 

Gave all five seasons to one of my sons for Xmas. He's a huge fan.

Season Two may be my favourite but I understand why people dont like it as much as say, season four.

 

My fiancee is watching for the first time. She immediately fell for Dukie. I don't have the heart to tell her how his story ends. And it's really hard for me to rewatch all the bad luck and stupidity and accidents that combine to sink Randy.
