64-page tab here, covering 1 NFL team, several in-state D-1s (plus a roundup of the small schools), SEC & CUSA, 2 jucos and 30 high schools, plus assorted odds and ends (schedules and other such stuff).

What helped us was that we finally - finally - did away with the dreaded team photos. We used practice and file art and so far nobody's bitched. We'll see after Sunday. Our readers love the section. We've had a couple of dozen calls in recent weeks asking when it was coming. A lot of them keep it around as a ready reference, especially for the preps.

Ah, yes. I have my lil' fingers all over that site. ;) And how about George batting 607-for-608? Only helmet he doesn't have yet is a first-year program in downtown Philly.

In fact, it led to a full page in Sunday's tab, the idea for which I got from Yakima's tab of last year ... maps and directions to all 44 of our local stadiums.

Just finished the thing about three hours ago. And as usual, after I'm done, I realize I really enjoy doing it each year. Honestly.

Got our 20-page section done early Monday afternoon.

And we started doing a wrap with athletes from each of our seven main schools to be delivered Aug. 28 to said schools. It's a pretty neat idea we started doing last year after our SE talked with someone who had done it before.
