New York punts the ball from its own 35-yard line. The ball is caught at the Dallas 18-yard line and is returned to the Dallas 27-yard line. How many yards did the ball travel and what is the NET average?

    Hockey

Philadelphia scored 263 goals and allowed 253 goals in a season. What is team’s Goals for Average and Goals against Average?

    47-yard punt, net of 38

divide the goals for and goals against by minutes played and multiply that by 60.

Goals for and goals against would be total number of goals, divided by number of games. It's pretty basic.

On New York's punt, was the line of scrimmage the 35, or was that where the punter kicked it from? Because the distance of the punt is measured from the line of scrimmage, contrary to what most people in high school press boxes think.
