    Lomax posted the 12th most single-season passing yardage in the history of the league (4,614 yards in 1984).

    So, again, you were looking for what that showed up the 1988 Cards?

    Also, on Roy Green. I have a Madden book from 1986 where he calls Green the best receiver in the game.

    He was as good as anybody in the game in '83 and '84 before being limited by injuries in '85, so I can understand somebody making the argument going into the '86 season. Remember, Jerry Rice was good, but erratic, as a rookie in '85. It was in '86 that he really put it all together.

    I was searching for the NFL on CBS "pots and pans" music from that era



    and further out of that came the 1988 Phoenix Cardinals. And then wasted 22 minutes of my life watching it.
