Football gamers into capsules

This is exactly what happens a lot in my area. There are quite a few coaches that don't have a statisitican, so they'll do the stats while reviewing the game tapes later that weekend.

Depending on the coaches to call in stats on deadline is playing with fire.

That's why we send stringers to cover capsule games.

With 25 football teams and only two writers to staff and two part-timers for calls, calls are a fact of life for us.
