Trying to look at it overall. Due to the demographics of this board, members of this board may not accurately reflect the country as a whole.

Where is more money spent? Are there more fantasy players than gamblers (though there is a lot of crossover I am sure).

    Opinions?

More money, gambling -- because it involves investment every week.
    More participants, fantasy.
Now, if you put friendly office pools into the fantasy section, since it really is all about camaraderie and such, that'd probably be bigger.

  3. Its not either or - I do both and I bet the stats prove that I'm not alone.

On Costas Now this week, I believe he brought up a fact that like $40 million is gambled legally on football every week. The number, obviously, is much higher when considering illegal gambling.

I don't know the money amounts for fantasy football, but I can't imagine it even sniffs this much cash flow.
