Anyone know of a coach who has won state championships in three states?

I assume you're asking this because of Robert Herring, no?

Yes, Herring. He's two wins short of achieving a title in his third state.

I don't know of any. Not sure how much good it will do you to ask here, though. It's not like you'll get a definitive answer you could use in a story.

Herring, who is the first coach to win state championships in three states, according to anonymous posters on a message board for sports journalists ... :D

I was looking for a direction in which to look, so I could then go verify it, having come up empty by other means.

I was just funnin' with you. I gather it doesn't matter anymore, though, eh?
