    Background info:

The tryouts are for Team Kansas City, Mo. and Team St. Louis, Mo. respectively. Come December, the athletes who make each team will be playing in the Football University (FBU) National Championship tournament. The tryouts are for athletes who will be in the 6th, 7th and 8th grade (class of 2022, 2021 and 2020) when they start up school in September. The FBU National Championship is described as "March Madness meets the Little League World Series. The national championship tournament is a single elimination tournament and goes throughout December with the championship taking place in Naples, Fl. the week before Christmas.

    Tryout info:

There are three (3) opportunities right now. Very good possibility to cover more tryouts if they are scheduled.

Team St. Louis Tryout. Saturday, August 1st - Lutheran High School
5100 Mexico Road. St. Peters, MO 63376

Team KC Missouri - Sunday, August 2nd - Bishop Miege High School
5041 Reinhardt Dr, Roeland Park, KS 66205

Team KC Missouri - Sunday, September 6th - Landry Athletics
    11230 E State Route 350, Raytown, MO 64138

    The Writing:

Please identify the top players in each grade (4-8 players), then write up an article recapping the tryout. Talking about top performers from each grade level and what made them stand out. Looking 400-600 words total. After speaking with the coaches at the tryout, please also be prepared to provide a list of the top performers per grade (in order of more impressive to least.)

    The Pictures:

Using a cell phone, please get a picture of each athlete you feature. Waste up, looking right at your camera (phone). No hat, helmet or sunglasses. Please label each pic. Also get one landscape picture of all the athletes on the field at once. Probably easiest to do this during warmups/stretching.

    The Pay:

$50 per tryout. Each tryout will last around 3 hours. Very easy day at the office. Coaches will be more than helpful to you.
