Foley's lawyer: He was molested as a child

However much he got molested as a child, just wait until he starts doing time.

 

AP story says Foley is Roman Catholic. Two plus two, etc.

Foley also admitted today he's gay.

 

So, this is all a homophobic crusade to take him down. Got it.

the congressman to keep him out of trouble.

Foley was almost Burt Reynolds' character in Striptease?

Good thing he got out of the Senate race in favor of Katie Harris.

Foley is hoping for the Jim McGreevey treatment, where his misdeeds are "forgiven" because he is gay. He is forgetting that while McGreevey may have been dirtier than a Chicago alderman, the public can forgive greed and excess. The gay community is not going to be quick to defend a pedophile -- doesn't exactly further the cause.

 

There's a joke in there about Foley being the only Florida male politician not impressed by Katie Harris' breasts, but damn if I know how to make it.

 

Naw, I think he ate too many twinkies.
