Let me also add that Scott Carter guy, (a great cigar aficionado too.) Another name that is no longer in the business but was a great reporter for my writing bunch in Tampa - Daryl Presgraves. At one time, Daryl, Staples, Izzy and the great Tom Ford were in the Pasco bureau - Cripe, that was an all-star lineup.

 

A lot of Tampa Tribune alumni have done very well...

 

And not like these guys have an athletic department spoon feeding them either.
