Horrible, horrible news. Was Zac Efron not returning their calls or something?

    As long as there's a Dana Wheeler-Nicholson cameo, I'm good for $8.50.

    "No children?"
    "No, no elephant books."

Wow, that's a really embarassing db. Not only was that a YEAR ago, but... I posted on that thread. (Though it was before the Jackson announcement.) I swear I must have suffered mental trauma and blacked out 'cause I have no memory of that.

At this point, I just hope the movie never gets made. In its present configuration, it'll just sully the rep of the other Fletch flicks.

    You called?

Even at its best -- with Smith and Lee attached -- I didn't feel good about this. I know the original film wasn't so much true to the spirit of the books, but it remains an all-time classic.

Now? Please, don't even bother. The only possible saving grace is that it might drive a new generation to seek out the original.

My other misgivings about a new Fletch is that it'll give that assclown Chevy a chance to come out of hibernation. The once funny icon has become a very bitter and unfunny old man.

Looks like our problems may just be solved.

    Ed McMahon.

    Irwin M. Fletcher, you choose.

    Woooooeeeeee! I lost...again.

    Sorry.
