    Isaiah Washington is full of crap, on many levels. He didn't bother to submit a tape because he knew there was no way in hell he was going to get a nomination. The Emmy committee wouldn't touch him with a 10-foot pole. As for whether he deserved a nomination, I'd put him in a group of about 15 actors who could be considered deserving. I doubt he would have been in the top 5 even without the controversy.

    But on a side note, my aunt Emmy thinks The Wire is brilliant, loves Robert Wisdom, and nominates him for her own personal awards each year.
