The Moral Sheriff of the Internets, who does not post here but doesn't hesitate to complain about the content when he disagrees with it, thinks we are all horrible people. Also, he would like to link to the post in question on his own blog, so that more people read the offense in question.

Biff, I can only imagine how you'd feel about our light-hearted parodies about stealing home run balls from little kids or buying DVDs at WalMart on Black Friday. We mess with Peter out of love.

That's disappointing out of Pearlman. I usually enjoy his snark.

And PK's outfit IS lame. But then again, he's got every player's cell number so he doesn't need the media day circus like others do. So he wins.

Looks like Jeff is already writing PK parodies of his own:

Now it's clear to me why King dressed the way he did. He wanted to stand out so players would remember him. Just like his idol Jeff Pearlman who always wore a backward Kangol cap. I remember a time being in Yankee clubhouse watching players snicker and point to Jeff as he walked by. God did that hat look stupid.

The good thing about SportsJournalists.com is that we (mostly) mock only the most successful in the biz. Guys and gals who have made it to the top of the profession.

    Not grinders like Pearlman.
