Now it's clear to me why King dressed the way he did. He wanted to stand out so players would remember him. Just like his idol Jeff Pearlman who always wore a backward Kangol cap. I remember a time being in Yankee clubhouse watching players snicker and point to Jeff as he walked by. God did that hat look stupid.

 

The good thing about SportsJournalists.com is that we (mostly) mock only the most successful in the biz. Guys and gals who have made it to the top of the profession.
