FIU football player killed

    I've never watched an FIU game and don't know much about the guy, but after the UConn stabbing last fall, I hate seeing something like this happening again.

    What a tragedy. Jawing with someone is one thing, resorting to weapons like that is just horrid.

    RIP to a young man who will never have a chance to know what he could have done.

    Covered this kid a bit back when he was in high school. Great athlete, great track guy. Couple of times I spoke to him he was real polite and seemed like a real nice kid that loved to compete.
