tp, I find this sort of thing a lot in coverage of "minor" sports.

There are quite a few places where the fight was the first WNBA story of the year for said newspaper.

Lacrosse seldom got any copy west of the Mississippi prior to the Duke incident.

And you often only see arena football mentioned in non-arena areas as a briefs item when there's some sort of injury or a coach firing.

Not sure what that has to do with anything. Peoria is now a Cubs affiliate.

That's the thing, I kept looking to the right of the frame on the fan-hald camera, waiting to see a pitcher throw the ball or waiting for the ball to zoom through the frame from right to left. It wasn't until I saw the ESPN clip that I realized the pitcher was closer to the dugout than the arguing managers! Unreal.

I thought Dayton was a Cardinals affiliate, because I'm a moron.

But fuck the Cardinals, any way.

This brawl was the best thing to happen to Ohio since the Cuyahoga caught fire.

On a semi-related note, the Chiefs are playing the Kane County Cougars tonight at Wrigley Field. Crowd of more than 30,000 expected as Ryne Sandberg and his bunch of brawlers play the first minor league game at the friendly confines.
