Snowmobile rider Caleb Moore died today, a week after crashing on a trick at the X Games.

What, if anything, do you think will change?

    We need to outlaw snowmobiles.

Or at least have strict snowmobiles-control laws, including outlawing the snowmobile show loophole.

Should probably ban the X Games too.

But that's got nothing to do with this guy killing himself.

People have heart attacks and die on golf courses. Fuck worrying. Shit happens.

if we outlawed snowmobiles, only outlaws would have snowmobiles, and the terrorists would surely win

This year's X Games got to be hard to watch, there were so many injuries. Every TV session this year began with an update on how the previous day's hospital visitors were doing. Then you have stuff like a riderless snowmobile plowing into the crowd after a crash, a crash that happened in part because the guy had never ridden a snowmobile before, and it felt even worse. I don't know what the answer is, but the whole thing was feeling a bit sick.

Why don't we ban competitive skiing first?

Seems to kill a lot more athletes.

Maybe not use motorized non-flight vehicles in a way that involves them flying?

Parents need to stop letting their kids learn how to snowmobile.

All decisions about everything need to be centralized. That's the only way.
