Exactly. My mom said some of them were going after they got checked out at the hospital back to the mine to watch the others come out. I was like...THEY'VE BEEN STUCK WITH THEM UNDERGROUND FOR MONTHS. Don't they want a few days AWAY from these people by now??

as a Navy vet, I can somewhat attest what's it like to be confined to a limited space with the same people for months on end.

I can't believe the amount of people (ok, four or five) that said Pepsi. Next to seeing your family and having sex, Pepsi is the No. 1 answer on the board.

 

I think after all that time being confined with other people, and leaning on them for support and survival, it'd feel very strange to be away from them.

I mean, I'd want my family for sure, but you've got to think they've bonded in a "we could have died, but we toughed it out.... together" kind of way.
