First DeMoss, now Ross at Ole Miss

In another surprise in SEC women's basketball, Ole Miss coach Carol Ross resigned Thursday after four successful seasons.

Is it just coincidence that she and DeMoss have quit this offseason or is something else going on here? Never heard of the Ole Miss assistant, Renee Ladner, who will replace Ross -- but she went to Ole Miss with Ross and is married with two kids.

Huh. Weird news. There were rumors going around the Ross had been talked about as the replacement for DeMoss.

I don't think it's anything big. DeMoss was very adamant that it was solely about her needing time off and nothing personal. It was weird though, since she would have had, without a doubt, her best team back next year.

I don't know much about Ross' situation.
