Chris Rock doesn't know what the hubbub is about.

I mean, who doesn't want to fuck the flab under Rachel Ray's armpits?

Should I not have done that? I gotta plead ignorance here. If I had ANY idea this type of behavior was frowned upon...

You mean NBC that until March was held by GE, whose CEO is Jeffrey Immelt, who was the head of Obama's Jobs Council? As in GE, which paid $0 in corporate taxes not so long ago?

    Nah, no "partnership" there.

Either way, no team is supposed to be able to hire or fire personnel:

Management at CSN Chicago is solely responsible for the hiring of reporters, according to the network.

That statement only says "hiring." It says nothing about firing.

    September:

So, CSN is all "newsy" when they want to be.

The guy that announced her hiring has a fancy, journalistic title.

So, they fired someone from their news division due to an objection from the entity they cover.

Wow. You people are hitching your wagon to Rosenhack? Good luck with that. Man hasn't left his couch in a decade.

Hadn't heard of him till that, but it was a good column.

It might not have been a dominant column, but I thought be got through six innings, with three or fewer runs.

Whether or not it's racist or too sexually explicit is debatable, I guess.

But maybe that's just not the image Comcast wanted for a reporter. So they fired her.

And you know what? That's their prerogative.

    It's a right-to-hire, right-to-fire country, folks.

If you like her and think she's funny, you hire her.

They fired her because Rocky Wirtz -- who was supposed to be progressive, compared to his father -- wrote a letter. That's not in question.

The "news division" fired her because of a complaint they received from the team they cover.

They caved to a "partner". And, they were not required to as stated in the partnership agreement.
