Praise the Lord that Josh Duggar and his family found solace in God after he admitted to molesting five unnamed kids.

In case you were wondering, yes, he and his dad alerted authorities: about a year after his confession to dad, the two consulted an Arkansas State Trooper, and the trooper gave the boy a stern talking to. The trooper is no longer available for comment, as he is serving a 56-year prison term for child pornography.

The five alleged victims include four of his sisters. Praise the Lawd.

Hopefully this will get the load-of-shit teevee show off the air, but it'll just get replaced by another reality show freak-fest.

I get family secrets and not going out of their way to publicize it, what I don't get is being so public and carrying on a career with the Family Research Council knowing full well what a hypocrite you are.

To be fair, who could have ever guessed there was something creepy about that family?

Josh Duggar worked for the Family Research Council - which opposes gay men from adopting children because they will molest them.

  7. That's not a conflict of interest. That's more kids for the straight molesters!

What's the statute of limitations here? Are none of the victims pressing charges? Or is it all being excused because he's a front man for the Christian Right?

My wife watches that show, for some unknown reason. On occasion, I've watched with her, and I've mentioned more than once that it wouldn't surprise me one bit if it came out one day that one (or more) of the brothers fessed up to sleeping with one (or more) of the sisters. They just kind of give off that vibe to me.

If the victims are his sisters, I'm guessing Jim Bob and Michelle are pressuring them not to cooperate.

I hadn't read the story, so the victims being his sisters makes the stressing the "underage" part make more sense. He was also underage at the time.

Four of the five victims sisters? Perhaps the family tried to correct it in-house.

Perhaps he learned the behavior in-house.

This family is pretty popular in certain segments of my Facebook feed (my sister-in-law, for one). Should be an interesting next couple of weeks.
