Twenty years is too short a window. Some of the nominees are no more than fair TV shows, period.

The Simpsons - and it isn't even close. Dick Van Dyke and I Love Lucy still hold up. Seinfeld was a classic of the '90s, but really "of" that period.

Even though it was only on for three seasons, Arrested Development rocked.

Otherwise, my vote's of course for Seinfeld.

That's the one show I thought might be on this list, and I'm glad it wasn't.

Never saw what mystical hold that show had on some people.

You have to watch it through from the beginning. I guess it's not a show you can just jump in on randomly. If it has a flaw, that's it, but I would venture that's only the case because of the varied cast of characters.

I went with The Simpson, just for sheer staying power.

Whatever. This list is incomplete without AD, the Office and 30 Rock. And while I enjoy both, Entourage and Scrubs aren't on the same level as the other shows on the list.

I voted Simpsons, by the way.

Ditto. Best of the cable comedies, and it wasn't close.

Most bizarre show I've ever watched. Cocka-cocka-ka! (Will Arnett makes me laugh like few others).
