I kept reading about the bet on the bowl thread, but only now did I see it. Honestly, I wouldn't have taken it, even if I would have seen it, because I don't believe one game is worth that much. I would have done an avatar bet or signature bet in a heartbeat, though, akin to the one I made with BYH a couple years ago on the Bengals-Steelers playoff game that forced his to switch his handle for one week.

By the time you made that bet offer, I was already parked at my favorite sports bar with a friend, ready for the game to start with wings, cheesy fries and Dr Peppers.

It's too bad we didn't think of a bet sooner -- we could have seen your favorite bird gracing your avatar for the next week!

alright you bastard. i shot off my mouth like a douche bag and was dead wrong. if you would have shown up and taken the bet, you could have ran me for a year. take a good look at the side saddle ... it will stay there through monday just so you know i'm almost as good of a sport as you (after the fact, of course).

As I prepare my final poll, I think it's time to send out one last word of praise to Slappy for conductiung this thing all year and putting up with shit like late ballots and people sometimes (I think I only did it twice) voting for the same team more than once.
