Is that what Foreigner meant by the Double Vision lyric "I live all of my years in a single minute"?

I feel compelled to say that despite appearances on this thread,I am only a very occasional smoker. And despite posting that recipe, I have actually never done any edibles. If someone told me that recipe to my face, I would probably throw out the "weed college" line from Half Baked.

The drug you remember isn't the drug of today.

Not your parent's pot: Today's marijuana strains are much stronger

Through the 1990s, marijuana typically had about 4 percent THC, the main compound that makes consumers high, according to Madeline Meier, a psychologist at Arizona State University. Thanks to cultivators who’ve crossbred strains to boost potency, today’s cannabis commonly has 15 percent, 20 percent, even 30 percent THC. And concentrates – such as waxes, tinctures and oils – can reach 60 percent or 80 percent.

Such potencies can lead to negative experiences for baby boomers who haven’t lit up in decades or for inexperienced consumers who don’t know how to properly dose their intake, Gruber said. There’s also concern among experts that increasingly potent products heighten health risks.

No mention in this story of the impact on boning.

As I've read more and more about it, I've realized the marijuana industry is trying to scam us older folks into agreeing to something we think we remember fondly ("it's harmless!") but in reality we have never experienced. Once the research gets there, it won't be kind to the pro-stoner groups. But by then it will all be legal.

Wouldn't THC content be regulated in legal pot?
