I'll be the one in the corner puking and crying.

Boy is Tyler Hansbrough one girl-looking mofo.

Nothing over the top, at least not that I heard. "North Carolina is the 2009 national champion," or something very similar.

EDIT: Oh yeah. "A performance that from the start could not be any finer." Guess I wasn't listening closely enough.

"One Shining Moment" is so Special Olympics.

  4. There wasn't even material for One Shining Moment this year. Like five memorable shots. And even those weren't very memorable.

Also, Wayne Ellington didn't make it! Very sad.

The One Shining Moment: "Onions, Double Order!" - I think it occurred with 8 minutes left in a game. How sad. The half-court shot to end the first half was somewhat sweet, but wouldn't even make the cut in most years.

KU gets an assist with Hansbrough, who would have gone to KU, except that dadgum coach left for Carolina Blue. In all seriousness, though, it's good to see Roy produce a team so many of us thought he would deliver through the years -- one every bit as good as advertised to begin the season.

Yep, he got in with a little over a minute to go.
