Final Four and NCAA Title Game Thread

Discussion in 'Sports and News' started by Flying Headbutt, Apr 4, 2009.

  1. Quick poll: approximately what percentage of Michigan residents would have been elated by a MSU title?

If it is under 25, Jim Nantz is bothering me.

And since it is under 25, Jim Nantz is bothering me.

Mizzou fans were there long before you...before he even walked on the court at UNC, as a matter of fact!

Following on gamecast. Was there really a Dahlman sighting for Michigan State at the end? Former all-time leading scorer in Minnesota, relegated to 18th man at Michigan State. And what was Nantz's proclamation?

I guess Sparty didn't want revenge and wasn't a team of destiny.

I mean, if you think the outcoached angle is lazy and uninformed, I can't imagine what you'd think of someone who thought a team could win b/c it wanted revenge and was a team of destiny.

If he were any more annoying, he could transfer to Duke.

"The team that has the best defense and the team that makes the fewest turnovers has the best chance to win."

Oh, thank you so much for that insightful comment, Coach Knight.

Clark: "I know since the loss last year, this is where you wanted to be..."

Really? I thought the team's goal was to get bounced in the second round.
