    Congrats to Ken. Glad he is (I hope) going out on his own terms. Retirement is the best. He has survived a lot of goofball bosses at the Oregonian.

    Strong column. He avoided being negative, which had to be challenging when comparing the 1977 Oregonian to today's version.
