Fiesta Bowl's Schoeffler resigns

    Dang, hate this. Have dealt with him a lot over the years and he was damn good at his job. Story doesn't give a reason for his leaving. Hope all is OK.

    One of the best at his job I have ever encountered. Anyone lucky enough to cover a Fiesta Bowl knows what I mean. I hope there's nothing "Between the lines" regarding his resignation, but the timing is certainly odd.

    Wow. Saw him in Vegas several weeks ago, we chatted and he didn't mention a thing about possibly leaving. Best of luck to the Big Daddy. His best Fiesta Bowl was 2001, no doubt about that.
