I'm available to cover the Florida state high school baseball championships at Tradition Field, which begin Wed., 5-20.

I've covered Major League Baseball (Mets, Dodgers, Marlins, Cardinals), NASCAR (12+ seasons), NCAA football, NHL, PGA, Florida State League, PBR and various prep events in Florida, and I'm located 10 minutes away from Tradition Field, the spring home of the New York Mets and host of the FHSAA championships.

I have over 12 years of experience covering sports in Florida, working primarily for Scripps Treasure Coast newspapers but also The Palm Beach Post, Tampa Tribune and St. Pete Times. Contact me at wlwhitehead@yahoo.com or call me at (772) 577-0105.

    Thanks,

    Bill
