So either:

1) There is no God
2) God is fine with people being gay
3) God is punishing Chely Wright by making her gay because God points out in the Bible that he does not like gays and Chely Wright did something bad

 

There are approximately an infinite number of options besides those three.

 

You should list a few.

 

God is testing her
She's lying
The reporter is lying and she never said it
She didn't pray in a way that made him want to listen
Someone else prayed differently and God chose to listen to that prayer
Someone else did something bad and God is punishing them through her

I wasn't even trying that hard and I came up with about half a dozen right there. It's pretty silly when talking about theoretically infinite gods to start saying things "must" be x, y, or z.

John Rich is proving to be a douchebag more and more. He is the big winner in the Great Flood of 2010: otherwise, Nashville would still be talking about the craptacular stunt he pulled at his house late one night last week.

As for Chely, who I knew fairly well in 1994-95, glad to see she's finally come out of the closet. But as was noted earlier, it was widely known on Music Row. Especially after she broke up with a skinny kid from Johnson City, named something Chesney, IIRC. Wonder what ever happened to him?
