We have had probably 1,000 music/song threads on here, but figured we aren't running out of space, so thought I'd start a new one. We all have our "go-to" songs when it comes to pick-me-up or feel-good songs. What are some of yours?

Here's a few of mine... that are playing right now:

    1) Proud -- Heather Small
    2) Love is Gone (It's the baseball players gimmick that I like with the song) -- David Guetta
    3) Hooked on a Feeling -- Blue Swede

    So what are yours?

    Most Van Morrison...

"Tupelo Honey" was the first song at my wedding. Whenever I hear it, it puts me in a great mood.

There are other "fun" bands that nobody is ever going to confuse with The Beatles that just put out upbeat, fun songs, like Bowling for Soup and Fountains of Wayne.

Early Van Halen fell into this category.

I'll admit to this one, too. What can I say ... my mom had/still has a bunch of ABBA records. A song will take you back.

Pretty much everything by Jimmy Buffett or anything written by Scott Emerick but especially "A Kind Word," "Beer for My Horses" and "Enjoy Yourself."

Also, Paul Overstreet's "She Only Likes Me for My Willie" and "Big Balls," which crack me up every time.
